Time Warp

December 15, 2017

As I sit down and write, I bathe in the sunshine around my heart.  My youngest child has graduated college.  I can not believe I have two functioning, loving, handsome college graduates- can't believe I did it!  I did it with a lot of help as I consider parenting a complete and total "village" thing.  It takes so many people to help you along the way.  From the second you become pregnant to the day they graduate college (and beyond) it requires the "village!"  I was lucky enough to have a wonderful village.  People who have come and gone and people who were there just at the right time when I needed them.  I don't let go of friends well, even if I take a break, I adore and love my friends.

How I approach my job as a Mom is how I approach my job as a cancer support coach. If I don't have the right answer or know the answer, I will find you the person who does know the answer!  I will be there for you as much as humanly possible.

Every week I have a new show released with people who are sharing a cancer story, product, book, experience, information, you name it and it's all geared towards supporting anyone dealing with cancer. If you know anyone who would be interested in being on the show, please HMU!

This week I was lucky enough to meet a really kind lady, Janinha Piazzetta, she runs a company called H3. Here is the ABOUT section from her facebook page (H3).

The concept of H3: Health. Hope. Healing. originally began in July 2007 as a breast cancer support group. The group originally met every third Saturday of the month at the Miami Beach Regional Library to educate and inform people about cancer related health issues. Currently, H3 is expanding beyond the library, seeking new venues to offer educational lectures and workshops to raise awareness in our community. H3 has grown immensely as our credibility increases through community support. There is a vast need for such services in the South Florida area. H3 is now a non-profit (501c3) organization focusing on breast cancer awareness as well as educating people about other health issues.

Here is our interview-have a listen!
